Went to the post office to pick up these goodies. I’m so excited to start watching and reading. I’ve been dying to find out what happens next to Nana K (Hachi) seeing as it was left at such a cliffhanger in Volume 3 with Shoji and Sachiko!

Going shopping later with Cheryl. Can’t wait to catch up with her and shop till we drop :-)

29th May 2012

Today at work was nothing special.

Finished at 5.30 today so that was nice.

It’s what happened afterwards that has really annoyed me.

Because I finished at 5.30 I was going to walk from work to Tesco and mumma surprised me by being outside work in the car waiting for me. She offered to take me there so I could get what I needed and then she said she’s take me to the doctors so I could pick up my repeat prescription. When I get to the doctors and I am given my repeat prescription, I realise that it’s for my blue inhaler not the red one that I wanted (by this time I’m at the pharmacy a couple of buildings away). So I go back and ask why it’s for the blue inhaler and not the red one. The receptionist told me that I am only on repeat prescription for the blue inhaler.

But this is not my problem.

My problem is is that I have been taking my red inhaler (which contains steroids in) twice a day (2 puffs) EVERY day since January when I shouldn’t have. They didn’t tell me that I should have stopped. I get that I should have been taking the red inhaler when I had both my chest infections (Jan & April) but they should have told me to stop after I got better! Not just let me take them non-stop for all this time. I am asthmatic but not bad at all and I believe that taking the red inhaler unnecessarily has made me feel worse and more wheezy than I actually am. Taking the red inhaler since January is probably the reason why I got another chest infection in April as steroids weaken your immune system. I’m not touching my red inhaler now… going cold turkey and just using the blue inhaler when absolutely necessary. If I have any side effects or withdrawal symptoms I am going to be even more angry!

28th May 2012

Payday.

This really shouldn’t be my highlight of the day but it is.

I can buy the next volumes of Nana, Series 2 of Vampire Knight and a pair of Vans.

Trying not to spend too much though as I’m trying to save loads each month for university. I’m limited to about £100 a month for myself to spend on whatever which I’ve just almost already spent half of. Woops.

 I’m out of control.

Today wasn’t anything special apart from the fact I worked 8-6 rather that my usual 9-6. One hour really makes the difference… I’m exhausted!

It was too hot I had to rock the crops at work and felt all nauseous at lunch time.

But I also found out I’ve been booked off for four, possibly five days of the school October half-term (30th Oct-2nd Nov so far) so I can spend it however I like so that was good :-)

I really should be doing an essay right now… Blah
